This breakfast series will focus on how sponsors can capture the full growth-related value creation potential from each investment. Although 60% of all value created over a five-year holding period comes from revenue growth, far too often PE sponsors sub-optimize exit valuations by not focusing on revenue growth initiatives early in the holding period. Growth problems often materialize in years 3 or 4, leaving very little runway for implementing growth initiatives requiring a multi-year time horizon.  To maximize returns, PE firms need a systematic and repeatable approach for helping management teams define revenue growth initiatives early.

Tory has spent 15 years in growth-focused operating, strategic, and financial services roles. He has significant expertise across healthcare sectors, having served as the Head of Baxter International’s Corporate Business Development group and the General Manager of Hospira Worldwide’s Client Services business unit. Prior to his executive leadership roles, Tory was an Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Company, where he worked on growth strategy, marketing strategy, and sales force effectiveness projects, among others. He began his career in Investment Banking and Principal Investing at Goldman, Sachs & Co., and earned his MBA from Harvard Business School.
